Which blog service lets me manage and host my own online community?

I am trying to find a blog service that will allow me to have admin rights to everything, where I can host and manage all blogs on my site. I guess it would be like my own blogger, or wordpress

The very popular blog service LiveJournal is free and open source software. This means that if you had a server ($60 to $100 USD a month depending on where you go) you could install, run and manage your own instance of LiveJournal on your own server.





On another note, you can easily use MT (MovableType) to manage multiple blogs. Its been around for ages and there is a huge community that contributes.
