I just used the word fancy (as in to like someone) for the first time, I don't know, I'm just used to seeing it on here, it seemed normal to me.
Maybe I need to see more of the real world? lol
Has the Answers community influenced your online 'dialect'?
No, it hasn't at all. Mostly it's made me want to punch people until they learn how to spell properly.
Reply:heck it's influenced my offline dialect as well. i don't know how many times i have said people"must be bisexual when they say homosexuality is a choice". i of course first read that on Y!A lol
Reply:I was actually amazed to learn that the whole "Vile Temptress" thing has taken a life of its own and is now like a semi-generally-known internet thing...lol.

Reply:I've started doing something that I swore I'd never do--using "lol."
I got tired of people misinterpreting my sarcasm.
Reply:Hahaha.
Personally, I don't think it's affected mine too much. However, I do admit that I use words I've always used more often, if I'm reminded of them. For instance, there are a lot of "big words" I know that I don't use often, and tend to simply sort of forget about. If I see it used, I'm reminded of it, and I think to use it.
Then again, I've noticed some people that do seem to have their word choices changed, after an experience with Y!A. [[Lol. That sounds odd.]] For instance, someone I emailed back and forth for a while suddenly started repeating the terms I use in conversation -- it was kind of amusing to watch their style of writing change dramatically though slowly over a period of time.
I guess to some extent, it simply depends on the person. As for seeing the real world, that's overrated. Stick to Y!A :]
Reply:No, ther're just people just like me. Every body has there own opinons.
